These are a few of my favourite things...

Good afternoon world!
As a new blogger I thought that I would do a post on a few of my favourite things (beauty wise) so that all of you can have an insight into the sort of stuff I use therefore will be reviewing on this blog! You may or may not find this sort of thing interesting but I personally love reading other peoples favourites posts!

So firstly...

I am currently still trying out products that my skin actually co-operates with and have recently ordered the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish which is on it's way now! I have  combination skin and get frequent breakouts *sighs.* Something that I have re-purchsed is the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Purifying Toner.

Firstly, IT'S PINK!!!!!!!!!!! I know the colour of a product shouldn't be what makes you like it, and it's not.. I swear.. but how can you not want to wipe a pretty baby pink toner all over your face? Apart from the colour of the actual liquid, I love the packaging as it's easy to use and not at all messy. The gold lid and box is gorgeous as well and adds to it's high quality image. As for the product itself I still can not find any faults with it. My skin instantly feels fresh and clean and I have no doubts that It leaves any sort of residue on my face. It doesn't make my skin feel tight or dry which is essential for my cheeks as they tend to get dry very easily. So well done Liz, hats off to ya.

I have manymanymanymanymanymany favourites when it comes to makeup so let's take a moment to understand how hard this was for me to decide... ok, now swiftly moving on these 4 products made the final cut.

(please excuse the Revlon Lip Butter being a little out of focus)

So these are my favourite lip, eyes, face and nail products.

Mac Prep + Prime in light plus - I know I over say this and this is my, like what? third post? but I. LOVE. THIS. As it's a BB Cream i've found that it really has helped to clear my skin up as well as having a good coverage. For a BB cream I would say this has a medium coverage which is really nice for evening out my skin tone and giving me a healthy glow. The only problem with this product now is that it's too light for my skin so i'm going to have to purchase a darker one to mix with it. boohoo

Revlon Colour Burst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti - I am a huge fan of orange lipsticks as I feel it really compliments my skin tone and eye colour (medium/light and blue) I would say this was a cross between a lip balm and a lipstick so it can be applied really easily and lasts for a long time with out drying out or smudging. I really really need to get this in more colours but as I said orange is my favourite so Tutti Frutti is a winner! It also reminds me of the Tutti Frutti sweets which I love and miss.

Bobbi Brown Everything Mascara in Black - My friend bought me this mascara for Christmas as she knew what a Bobbi Brown fan I was (Hi TDawg) and it's only just coming to an end so i'm definitely going to have to re-purchase. I love the brush applicator as I'm not a fan of plastic applicators and it's a great size and thickness for real looking long and voluminous lashes. The mascara itself does not flake or crumble throughout the day and also doesn't clump which is a MUST. So yeah, all round great mascara!

Essie Nail Lacquer in Sand Tropez - I really wanted a nude nail varnish but i'm extremely fussy when it comes to what type of nude. So as I marched up and down Ulta with my mum shouting at me to hurry up I picked up the Sand Tropez Essie nail varnish because it was in the middle of some pale and dark nudes so thought i'd play it safe and I am SO glad I went for this one. I cant really explain the colour except from saying a nudey lilacy pewtery colour? Not the best description I will admit. I used 2 layers of this and it's the only nail varnish i've tried recently which hasn't chipped. I will definitely be taking my mum with me to ensure I make quick, correct decisions more often.

So there it is, a much longer than anticipated list of a few of my favourites. Any recommendations for your favourites? I'd love to try more.
